Reimagine Resources
Reimagine Resources is a full-service fitness solutions company specializing in facility consultation, gym design, equipment installation, repair, and maintenance. We serve commercial fitness facilities nationwide and are known for our responsiveness, professionalism, and high standards of execution.
Position Overview
Reimagine Resources is seeking a part-time Business Operations Specialist to own operational analysis, process improvement, resource planning, and business performance reporting and execute the changes that analysis points to. The person in this role will work closely with the owner and operations team not just to diagnose inefficiencies, but to design, implement, and drive measurable improvement in how the business runs.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze service and operational workflows to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies and take ownership of designing and rolling out the process changes that resolve them.
- Review service volume, job completion times, workload patterns, and technician utilization to support resource and capacity planning, then implement scheduling and staffing adjustments based on findings.
- Build and maintain operational KPIs, dashboards, and management reports, and use them actively to drive corrective action on underperforming metrics.
- Analyze parts and equipment usage, lead times, shortages, and purchasing patterns, and implement improved inventory, reorder-point, and vendor-management protocols to reduce shortages and delays.
- Evaluate supplier and vendor performance on cost, lead time, responsiveness, reliability, and service quality, and lead renegotiation, contract changes, or vendor transitions when performance falls short.
- Perform operational cost and variance analysis on service jobs, equipment installations, labor, parts, and travel, and execute cost-reduction initiatives directly rather than only recommending them.
- Analyze historical operational data to identify trends and convert those findings into concrete forecasting and business-planning decisions.
- Develop process maps and standardized workflows, then implement them with the operations and service team and track adoption and results.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of process changes after they go live and iterate, improvement is a continuous execution cycle, not a one-time report.
- Prepare clear analytical reports for the owner and operational leadership that lead directly into an implementation plan and a named owner (typically this role) for execution.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Research, Business Analytics, or a directly related quantitative field.
- Demonstrated experience translating data analysis into implemented operational changes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with hands-on experience working with operational or business data.
- Proficiency in Google Suite, Microsoft Excel, and other business productivity tools.
- Ability to organize and interpret data and convert findings into practical, implemented recommendations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment with minimal oversight, exercising judgment on how and when to act.
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through from analysis to execution to results.
- Flexible and resilient.
- Able to give and take feedback and corrections.
- Be a team player.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a start up/small business
- Personal interest in heath and fitness
- Proficient with AI tools
- Experience with supplier/vendor negotiation, contract management, and cost-reduction execution.
- Familiarity with data and reporting tools such as Power BI, SQL, or Tableau.
- Exposure to process-improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean) and project-management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello, MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira).
- Track record of leading cross-functional execution of operational improvements, including working directly with vendors and internal stakeholders to see changes through.
- International business and experience.
