Position Summary: As a Full-Time Fitness Equipment Installer & Technician (PT Tech) 30 - 40 hours, you will be responsible for:
- Leading and managing all technicians on all locations at Reimagine Resources.
- Repairing, troubleshooting, moving, assembling, and installing fitness equipment.
- Ensuring all equipment is safe, clean, and fully functional.
- Managing service calls & equipment diagnostics independently.
- Providing top-tier customer service at commercial and residential sites.
- Tracking & reporting service work and equipment expenses.
This is a hands-on technical role that requires experience, problem-solving skills, and a strong work ethic.
Job Requirements
✅ Minimum 2+ years of repair or fitness equipment service experience (mechanical, electrical, or related field). Must be able to work on your own when starting.
✅ Reliable transportation (Truck, SUV, or Van preferred)
✅ High School Diploma or GED
✅ Professional appearance & strong communication skills
✅ Ability to lift 200 lbs & pass an annual PT test
✅ Must pass a background check & drug test (CBD/Marijuana prohibited)
✅ Smoke & vape-free workplace

Work Schedule & Pay
- Minimum 15 hours per week available, Monday–Friday (business hours)
- Some Saturday & full days out-of-town work (5% - 20% out of town)
- Pay: $18 - $30 per hour, based on experience after probationary period

All hires start as contractors at $18 per/hr. for the first 3 months & 200 hours before being considered for employment unless you have 3+ years in the industry and have a current manufacturer certification within the last 3 years.
- $18 - $20 No fitness equipment industry experience but 3 - 5 years adjacent industry skills in field tech positions.
- $21 - $23 1-2 years of full time fitness equipment field service + 3 - 5 years of adjacent industry experience in field tech positions.
- $24 - $25 3 - 5 years of full time fitness equipment field service + additional adjacent industry experience in field tech positions.
- $26 - $28 5+ years of full time fitness equipment field service + additional adjacent industry experience in field tech positions.
- $29 - $30 5+ years of full time fitness equipment field service + current manufacturer certification within the last 3 years+ additional adjacent industry experience in field tech positions.
- $31 - $35 5+ years of full time fitness equipment field service + 3+ current manufacturer certification within the last 3 years (including Matrix and Life Fitness) + additional adjacent industry experience in field tech positions.
